Materials Consumption
The typical consumption rate is (2.0~2.2) kg/m² for 1mm DFT. Material consumption depends on the porosity and texture of the substrate.

Application Instructions
Substrate preparation: The concrete substrate should be clean, dry, sound, and free of all contamination, such as dirt, oil, and grease. Surface defects, such as blowholes and voids, must be repaired. Filling of joints and surface leveling must be carried out before coating. Dilute YHElastic-4800 with 1 part of clean water. Stir gently until the mix is homogenous and uniform colour is achieved. Using a short hair wool roller, brush or by airless spray, apply a layer of the diluted YHElastic-4800 onto the substrate and leave the primer to dry efore applying the first coat.
Reinforced Coating System: Apply first coat of YHElastic-4800 and embed reinforced fabric (100g/m2 ) onto the wet coating, roll to ensure there are no bubbles or creases. The overlap between the edges shall be minimum 50mm and borders overlap by minimum of 100 mm. Subsequently, apply an additional 2 coats of YHElastic-4800 at desired film thickness. Ensure the previous layer is completely dry before applying the next layer. Leave the whole system to cure for around 48 hours prior to overlaying with cementitious screed.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
The product should be stored in ventilated areas, protected from sunlight, rain, and fire. Avoid collisions during transportation. The recommended storage temperature range is 5 °C to 35 °C. The shelf life is a minimum of 12 months under normal transportation and storage conditions.
PRECAUTIONS
YHElastic-4800 is suitable for diverse structural substrates, including structures affected by thermal movement and vibration. It works excellently on concealed RC flat roofs, externally buried exterior walls, and tile base waterproof coatings for podiums, balconies and other similar areas.
