APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Substrate Treatment

The substrate should be solid, clean, free of oil, wax, concrete curing agents, and other loose materials; the flatness should be ≤3mm/2m.

Adhesive Preparation

Refer to the certificate for the correct water addition amount.

Add the appropriate amount of water to the mixing bucket first, then gradually add the powder while stirring with an electric mixer until a uniform, lump-free paste is formed. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes, then stir again for 15-30 seconds before use. The mixed adhesive must be used within 2 hours.

Tile Paving

• Using a trowel, evenly spread a thin but strong layer of tile adhesive onto the substrate. Following that, apply a thicker coat of adhesive and then use an appropriately sized notched trowel to comb through the tile adhesive layer. Using a trowel, spread a thin but robust layer of tile adhesive onto the substrate's surface. Subsequently, apply a thicker layer of adhesive and utilize an appropriate notched trowel to comb through the tile adhesive layer. In adverse weather conditions (such as high temperatures, strong winds, etc.) or when the substrate exhibits high water absorption, tiles should be promptly installed. Before tiling, assess the tile adhesive's dryness by touching its surface with your finger. If the adhesive is still wet, tiles can be applied. However, if the adhesive is dry, reapplication is necessary. The depth of the notched trowel's teeth should be adjusted considering the levelness of the working surface and the variations in the tile back.
• For tiles with deep grooves on the back or sizes ≥300x300mm, use the combined method: apply adhesive to both the substrate and the tile back before pressing the tile into place..
• In order to ensure the quality of construction, the construction personnel should open the pasted brick from time to time to confirm that the back and base of the brick are pasted full without cavity.

CAUTIONS

• Construction environment temperature should be 5-35°C; avoid construction in rain, high temperature, strong wind, or frost.
• No need to soak the tiles before installation, but clean the back of the tiles from release agents.
• Do not add other materials to the adhesive.
• Use the combined method with a 60-degree angle between the trowel and the substrate; keep a gap of no less than 2mm between tiles.
• After paving the tiles, filling work can only be carried out after the tile adhesive has completely cured.

 

TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

• Avoid rain and impact during transportation to prevent damage.
• Store in a cool, dry warehouse, protected from moisture and water.
• Under normal transport and storage conditions, the shelf life is 12 months.

 

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

This product contains cement and other alkaline materials that can harm the eyes and skin. Wear necessary protective gear during construction. In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water and seek medical attention. Keep out of reach of children.

 

REMINDER

The stretch wrap and bottom wooden pallet provided at the factory will better protect the product from water, dust, and moisture, as well as protect the packaging. Please do not damage them before use! (Stretch wrap and wooden pallets are not provided for small quantities).
